A multivariable super-twisting sliding mode approach

This communique proposes a multivariable super-twisting sliding mode structure which represents an extension of the wellknown single input case. A Lyapunov approach is used to show finite time stability for the system in the presence of a class of uncertainty. This structure is used to create a sliding mode observer to detect and isolate faults for a satellite system.

Second Order Sliding Mode Control of Nonlinear Multivariable Systems

The paper proposes an approach to second order sliding mode control for multi-input multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear uncertain systems. With respect to standard sliding mode control, the second order sliding mode techniques for singleinput single-output (SISO) systems show the same properties of robustness and precision, feature a higher order accuracy and can be exploited to eliminate the chatter...

Robust Sliding Mode Control of Multivariable Time-Delay Systems

In this paper, the problem of sliding mode controller design for uncertain multi-input systems with several fixed state delays is addressed. A combined sliding mode controller is considered and it is designed for the stabilization of perturbed multi-input timedelay systems with matched parameter uncertainties and external disturbances. Delay-independent stability conditions are derived by using...

Sliding Mode Control and Feedback Linearization for Non-Regular Systems

This paper presents an approach for sliding mode control(SMC) and feedback linearization(FBL) of systems with relative order singularities. Traditionally, SMC and FBL are designed by taking derivatives of the output until the control signal appears(at the r 1 derivative). When a system does not have a well-defined relative degree (r1), the coefficient that multiplies u vanishes for some region ...

A Current-Based Output Feedback Sliding Mode Control for Speed Sensorless Induction Machine Drive Using Adaptive Sliding Mode Flux Observer

This paper presents a new adaptive Sliding-Mode flux observer for speed sensorless and rotor flux control of three-phase induction motor (IM) drives. The motor drive is supplied by a three-level space vector modulation (SVM) inverter. Considering the three-phase IM Equations in a stator stationary two axis reference frame, using the partial feedback linearization control and Sliding-Mode (SM) c...
